Grinding Media Balls Manufacturing Process

1. Choosing raw material-

1.1Steel Scrap

● No light material and no rust material

● No low melting metals and no unknown ingredients.

● No sealing body and explosive

1.2 Ferrochrome

● Ferrochrome requires quality guarantee list and clear chemical composition. The deviation is within the national standard.

● The lower requirement for P.S;the better for grinding ball quality. The particle size is suitable for smelting.

1.3 Carburant

● The carburizing should choose products with a carbon pickup rate over 80% and low sulphur content.

2. Smelting

Measure ingredients should be strictly according to batching list.The allowable error of measurement for all kinds of furnace burden is like this:Scrap steel, pig iron and recycled material are permitted to be + 5%.Alloy material is + 0.5%.

3. Molding sand

Manual way or automatic molding line.

 

4. Pouring melted liquid

Ensure pouring ladle dry before pouring, and pouring ladle is intact. Check whether the casting buffer has been bake dry and firm, and whether there is a backup buffer. Is there any loosening of the compression head of the compaction device
