1) It may be that the ore particle size exceeds the standard. Some mines in order to pursue production, the ore particle size is not broken up to the standard, which directly leads to the increase of mill load and the consumption of high chromium ball is bigger. The feed size must be controlled within a reasonable standard range.

2) The speed of the mill is improper. If the speed is too high, the centrifugal force of the steel ball is too large, the impact wear is intensified. If the speed is too low, the grinding efficiency is low, and the best speed should be maintained between 75%-80%.

3) Imbalance of high chromium ball ratio. Too much big size high chrome alloy casting steel ball, too much impact. The scientific ratio should be 40% of the big size ball, 40% of the medium size ball, 20% of the small size ball
